  1. Helping your child prepare for a storm and its aftermath: A coping toolkit for families, our friends at Teaching Strategies, LLC and Ready Rosie have put together some free resources for our families who have been or could be impacted by natural disasters.

  2. Three Ways SNAP Can Help Floridians After a Disaster,Florida Policy Institute, (SNAP) is a lifesaver after hurricanes and other natural disasters — it helps affected Floridians buy food when they are out of work or lose their groceries due a power outage or to flooding. September 28, 2022

  3. Harvard and Stanford Universities are conducting a free, brief, online, evidence-based activities to increase emotional wellness specifically for Head Start staff.The wellness activities are shown to reduce stress and decrease staff turnover. Participants will receive a $20 prepaid card for completing all three activities and a certificate for completion. To learn more about participating, click here.
