- Assisting Families With Access to Benefits, Expanded Tax Credits, and Supports Through the ARP Act, National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement, June 24, 2021
- Did you know the Child Care Facilities called "Child Safety Alarm Act" SB 252 was signed into law on June 22 by Governor DeSantis. This bill requires all child care facilities providing transportation of children to install a child safety alarm on their vehicle, therefore helping to ensure no child is left unattended in these vehicles. The bill comes into effect on October 1, 2021, and the implementation date is set for January 1, 2022. The Department of Children and Families will now need to adopt minimum safety standards rule and determine how the systems will operate. Stay tuned.
