FHSA Call for Board Nominations is NOW OPEN! Help direct the future of FHSA by serving on the FHSA board of directors.  There are two (2) FHSA Director Seats to be filled by a qualified Director of a Head Start/Early Head Start program in the Southeast and Suncoast region and two (2) FHSA Board Director-At-Large seats to be filled by qualified members from a Head Start/Early Head Start program in a Staff or Parent role or is a member of FHSA under the Individual or Corporate Friends level. The deadline to submit your nomination is Friday, August 27, 2021. 
   
   
2. NHSA Hosting Ann Linehan’s Retirement Celebration, August 17 @ 2:00 p.m. ET After 15+ years with the Office of Head Start, and 10 as Deputy Director, Ann Linehan is embarking on her next chapter in life: a well-deserved retirement!
   
   
3. The Department of Children and Families will host a Rule workshop for SB 252 (Child Safety Alarm Act) on August 26 @ 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. Click here to review the drafts for the rule workshop and the link to participate.
