FY2022 Appropriations Omnibus Includes Increases for Existing Early Learning & Care Programs, Congressional leaders have unveiled a bipartisan FY2022 omnibus government spending package, which includes Head Start and Early Head Start: $11.037 Billion. A $289 million increase over FY2021, of which $234 million is for a cost of living adjustment. First Five Years Fund, March 9, 2022

  2. Division of Early Learning Joint Referral Collaboration Summit April 19-20, 2022 in Orlando, FL. This summit is designed to enhance coordination among referral agencies toward achieving an equitable and comprehensive family-driven system to support screening, referral, tracking and early intervention services.

  3. Did you know FAIMH hosts a Black Community of Professional Helpers group on the 2nd Friday of the month at 12pm?  This group provides a safe holding space to reflect and bear witness to their lived experiences, and the challenges it poses as they are also charged with holding the experiences of the young children and families they serve. Check it out!
