- The Department of Children and Families (DCF) announced two additional flexibilities for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) recipients impacted by Hurricane Idalia. The mass replacement of benefits will be issued for more than 38,000 households and will provide more than $8 million in food assistance. These benefits will be added to EBT cards automatically, individuals do not need to apply for the benefits. Click here to learn more if you are in affected communities.
- Improving Access to ACF Programs and Services, as part of ACF's ongoing work towards increasing access to resources and services and enhancing outreach to those who may be eligible for ACF programs, materials have been created to provide tailored guidance to hard-to-reach populations. - Tipsheets for Workforce Development Program Staff to Prepare Employers and Young Workers for Conversations.
