  3. ICYMI: Director Garvin's video highlights important changes in the HSPPS regarding child health and safety. All staff must undergo annual training on mandated reporting of child abuse and neglect, positive strategies for supporting social and emotional development, understanding how the standards align with four major categories and definitions of child maltreatment, and requirements for reporting incidents to the Office of Head Start.
