Kennedy, Jr.'s visit to the Greater Mount Vernon Community Head Start in Gum Springs, VA. This visit highlighted the program's enduring dedication to nutritional services. Since its inception, Head Start has championed healthy eating as a vital foundation for children’s brain development, immune health, and overall growth.
