- NHSA Press Release: FY24 House Funding Level Will Deprive a Generation of American Children the Opportunity to Succeed in School and in Life. Earlier today, the House Committee on Appropriations released their Fiscal Year 2024 LHHS Education and Related Agencies proposal, including $11,246,820,000 for Head Start and Early Head Start, representing a $750,000,000 reduction from the current FY23 funding level. The proposed cut will result in 51,406 children losing access to Head Start and Early Head Start and eliminating 16,224 jobs across the country. July 13, 2023

- Train-the-Trainer for Medicaid and CHIP Renewals: Outreach and Education for the Early Care and Education Community Wednesday, July 26, 2023 @ 3:00 PM, ET. The Administration for Children and Families Early Childhood Development is hosting a train-the-trainer webinar to learn more about how to help children, families, and the ECE workforce maintain or access health coverage as states restart Medicaid and CHIP renewals. This webinar includes an interactive Q&A session with the presenters.
