Here's what you need to know

  1.  The Division of Early Learning (DEL) has launched the My Florida Schools Portal, where early learning providers and schools can personalize their profiles. This will help families in selecting the most suitable early learning and education options for their children. DEL is conducting a series of webinars to assist early learning providers in accurately setting up their profiles in the system. Click here to learn more.

  2. As we transition into a new election year, the most impactful thing we can do is strengthen our relationships with our congressional members and VOTE! Join the NHSA for their Head Start Advocacy Webinar Series, which will equip you with the tools and confidence to build strong relationships and take effective advocacy action. Your actions have the power to make a significant impact, and we encourage you to be part of this influential movement.

  3. Meeting 1303 Subpart F—Transportation requirements can feel daunting.  The Iowa and FHSA are partnering to bring you and your Head Start peers together for a training on September 12 to support transportation management and learn how to confidently meet the requirements in 1303 Subpart F to provide safe transportation to your students while meeting HSPPS.

Please visit our  WYNTK resource webpage, for archived WYNTK and FHSA events for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we are happy to connect with you and learn how FHSA can serve you better.

Sincerely,

Wanda Minick
