Call for Presentations!

FHSA is looking for dynamic individuals who can energize the Head Start workforce with content focusing on the birth to five scope to present at our annual conference on October 1-4, 2024, at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando.    

Submissions should align with one of these focus area topics: 

Learning Roundtables will be held on Tuesday, October 1st from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Educational Breakout Sessions will be held Wednesday, October 2nd and Thursday, October 3rd. 

  • Learning Roundtables – 60 minutes
  • Breakout Session – 75 minutes (a presentation, case study, panel, etc.)

About our audience and what we are looking for in a presenter? 

Our diverse audience ranges from CEOs, CFOs, Executives, Directors and Managers, Family Support Staff, Education, Disabilities, Nutrition, Health, Home Visitors operating Head Start/Early Head Start, Migrant and Seasonal Head Start/Early Head Start, and Early Head Start-Childcare Partnerships (EHS-CCP) that serve children and families in Center-Based, Home Based, and Family Child Care. Our conference attendees enjoy sessions that inspire and provide hands-on and action-oriented insights for our attendees to take back to their programs to implement.  

Our ideal speaker is:

  • Experienced, engaging, and comfortable speaking in front of groups
  • Passionate about sharing expertise, real-world strategies, and knowledge on topics to help our attendees grow their programs, careers and provide valuable takeaways
  • Willing to partner with FHSA to deliver the best possible content experience and relevant information to our audience
  • Available to engage with attendees before and after your session
  • Committed to sharing about FHSA on and with your social networks
  • Interested in partnering with FHSA and staying connected to the FHSA community beyond the conference itself

Submission Process

The FHSA Education Sub-Committee will review all information submitted to select presenters for our annual conference. The submission deadline is April 30, 2024. Only speakers who submit their information via this form will be considered. All speakers will be selected and notified by May 2024.
