It is essential to share the challenges and successes that the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County faced and overcame during the COVID19 health crisis with our Head Start community. It takes preparation during times of peace and from the bottom up to have the structure and then the capacity to respond, act, and sustain operations regardless of the circumstances. This presentation will describe the preparation and processes implemented to create a culture of adaptability, togetherness, and support, in addition to administrative changes to respond with services in a moment of crisis.

In this session, participants will explore the concepts of allowability, reasonableness, and allocability as it relates to the budgeting process, procurement, recordkeeping & reporting, and cost allocation during emergencies.
