How Positive Guidance Influence Staff Wellness, Part I & IINancy Shinault, Early Childhood Specialist; Shanna Scott, Health Specialist, and Zakiyyah Parks, Early Childhood Specialist, Region IV TTA, ICF Target Audience: Coaches, HS/EHS Directors, Ed Managers, and Executive DirectorsThis session will explore how grantees can create an effective classroom practice to help anticipate and avoid the escalation of challenging situations in the learning environment. Participants will reflect on their classroom practices and generate ideas to encourage effective problem-solving in their classrooms that will support Staff Wellness. We will explore the importance of ongoing support and teamwork in the classroom. EHS-CCP Strategies to Ensure Collaborative PartnershipsMaria Allaire, Head Start Early Childhood Specialist, Etheria Dalton McFarland, Grantee Specialist, and Yuneera Hudson, Fiscal Grantee Specialist, Region IV TTA, ICF Target Audience: All EHS-CCP program staffEHS-CC Partnerships bring together the strengths of childcare and Early Head Start programs. This session focuses on conducting effective meetings, making collaborative decisions, and addressing conflicts in developing collaborative partnerships. Come learn to build mutual relationships that streamline services and maximize funding and resources for children and families for long-term outcomes.
